The Visa and Immigration Officer from the University Student Progress Service can assist you to renew your student VISA. See the link to Renewing your Student Visa using the University Batch Scheme.  The Visa and Immigration Support section of their website offers useful information for students - VISA & Immigration Support.

Newcastle University International Student Handbook
On your way to Newcastle? This booklet will provide you with some useful hints and tips.  If you have been offered a place, you will be mailed a copy in the June before you are due to start at the University. You will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader software installed on your machine. The software is freely available for a wide range of computing platforms. Work Permits UK
provide Home Office information about work permits and schemes related to working in the UK.

UK Visas
The UKvisas website is a government website which has forms and information about applying for entry clearance. It also has links to the British consulates and embassies.

ARCH - Agecnies against Crime + Harassment is a group of organisations that work together to combat racism in Newcastle. A free 24 hour helpline on 08000 32 32 88 allows people to report incidents anonymously and confidentially.

Department for Education & Skills (DfES) for International Students
For information about the immigration employment conditions for international students check the guidance entitled 'International students working in the UK'. 

UKCISA (UK Council for International Student Affairs)
