The Home Office fees for renewing student visas from 1st April 2007 are:
*£250 for student postal applications.
*£500 Applications made in Person to the Home Office

*Always ensure you have printed off the latest application form from the following web address: Border & Immigration Agency . Immigration application forms are due to change on or after 29th February 2008.
Click on 'Applying' and then 'Application Forms' on the left-hand side. The student visa renewal form is entitled 'FLR(S)':
*If you have difficulty in obtaining information from the Home Office website, you can request a form to be posted to your home address from the Application Forms Unit of the Home Office by phoning: 0870 241 0645
*The Home Office application form FLR(S) is updated from time-to-time. Please ensure you complete the latest form for submission by post to the Home Office.
REMEMBER ...
1. Complete the latest version of the application form;
2. Keep a copy of your application and documents for reference;
3. Post your application by 'Special Delivery' post for secure delivery and proof of posting.
